We provide opportunities to worship for those who are away from home on weekends. You may be involved in
livestock events, or other related activities, and cannot attend a traditional church. The Great Commandment tells
us to “Go” where they are. I Corinthians 9:22b states, “I have become all things to all men, that I might by all
means save some.”
The Cowboy Ministry is two-fold:
1) Informal worship services are offered to all livestock
promoters at the Ike Hamilton Expo Center in West
Monroe and other like facilities during livestock events
such as horse shows, livestock competitions, rodeos, etc.
We will go wherever God opens the doors.
2) Informal worship services in a relaxed,
country-western atmosphere are conducted every
Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. We are currently holding
services at Cedar Crest Baptist Church, in the old
Worship Center, in West Monroe. See Services page for
details.
We minister through prayer, music,
fellowship, and administering the Word of
God. Cowboy Gospel tracts and “The Way for
Cowboys” NIV Testaments are available for
the taking.
We are available for whatever spiritual
assistance is needed. We believe that God
called us to this ministry and that whenever
He calls, He also equips and provides for the
needs.
If you feel led, your participation through
prayer, volunteer activities and donations will
certainly be welcomed with gratefulness and
praise to the Lord.
